This is us - Gen Z.

Whether at university or in our own activities, we always give free rein to our creativity. Although we are so different as brothers, we have one thing in common: our mindset of always wanting to get the best out of ourselves and our athletes, as well as our passion for sports and social media. That's us Bertalan and Márton.

This is our story.

2003 / 2004: Where it all began.

We were both born in Budapest, into a family of six. But shortly after we moved directly to Germany because of our parents' work.

2006: Life in Germany.

We both grew up fully in Germany. We were raised bilingual with German and Hungarian and lived in beautiful Bavaria for 16 years.

2008: The first obstacles.

Due to our Hungarian background, we had difficulties especially in kindergarten and even had to attend different language courses.

2009: The first contact with sports.

We both started swimming at the age of 6. Intensive competitions followed and even the Upper Bavarian championship. Football and basketball later replaced swimming.

2009: Start of the school period

Because of our nationality, we never found 100% acceptance. At school we experienced bullying at an early age and were unconsciously excluded by others.

2016: Distancing

As we were not comfortable at that time and the following years, we distanced ourselves from the others and got to know ourselves better. We became inseparable.

2017: The Mindset Change

Bertalan & Márton both decided to work on their bodies intensively, Bertalan lost 10kg, Márton stopped excessive Minecraft gaming and also started going to the gym regularly.

2018: First contact with social media.

Bertalan learned the first time purposefully in this matter. He became a content specialist, built up theme pages on Instagram as a hobby, his own website and even launched his own YouTube channel a little later.

2019: Discipline as a strength.

While Bertalan was editing the videos until late in the evening, Márton discovered languages for himself and decided to take up Spanish as a new hobby besides the dream of graduating from high school with a 1.0.

2020: The Outsiders.

We got up at 5:45 every morning, ran 10km twice a week before school, didn't drink alcohol, didn't smoke pot and ate healthy. All of this cost an enormous amount of stamina and made us outsiders at school.

2020: The will to succeed.

With our mindset, the others could not do anything, which is why we were very often smiled at. People wanted little to do with us, because we always wanted more and consistently pulled through our habits. This exclusion welded us together.

June 2021: The breakthrough.

Márton managed to graduate from high school as a Hungarian student with a dream grade of 1.0 and Bertalan's social media community reached the 50,000 fans mark. The results of our efforts were really something to be proud of.

August 2021: The first ideas about KSLR.

When Márton moved out from home, a new phase of his life began. Our vision to start our own business was stronger than ever. We brainstormed in the dorm room and in the kids' room in the evenings via Facetime to move forward.

October 2021: The founding of KSLR.

After opening our own social media agency, we both moved back to Budapest to go full throttle once again together.
